Thierry Debled began to exercise the profession of patent engineer in 1990. First, for 26 years in several companies of the industrial sector (AGC: flat glass manufacturing, UCB: polymer, pharmacy, plastic films (packaging or banknotes) and VESUVIUS: refractory materials and steel casting control device).
From 1998 to 2016, at VESUVIUS, he was responsible for the international branch of the patent department, which he created, organized and directed. He participated in the generation and development of the company's patent portfolio. He also developed a know-how in the development of intellectual property strategies in support of the company's commercial activities as well as in the negotiation of licensing agreements. He has extensive experience in patent litigation and opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office.
Thierry Debled joined the French law firm LLR in 2016 as a versatile patent engineer. He drafts patent applications and follows European and international grant procedures and a large number of oppositions and appeals. In addition, he advises his clients in their industrial property strategy, assists them in litigation and conducts patentability and freedom-to-operate studies.
He became a shareholder of Pecher & Partners in 2022.
